Appeal for Photographs to Gaiety Website.
Gaiety Management is updating the Gaiety Website with digital record/photographs of the Past Images of Shimla, Old Performances and Events associated with Gaiety. We have already put up rare photographs of Past performances during the British period. The Management strongly wants to have a separate viewing Gallery dedicated to Indian theatre legends like Late. Sh. Prithvi-Raj Kapoor, Late. Kenddals and Shashi kapoor, Late. Sh K.L. Sehgal Late.Sh. Manohar Singh, Late. Sh. Master Madan, Late. Sh.Balraj Sahni, Sh.Anupam Kher, Late. Sh.Amrish Puri and late Sh.Madan Puri while performing in Gaiety Theatre or during their visit to Shimla. The Management also requires more photographs of the performance in Gaiety during the British period & Past Images of Shimla.
The ADC Shimla, the institute associated with Gaiety has very generously provided the rare photographs of the Plays held in Gaiety from 1894 onwards for web display. Every one is requested to provide or send the Photo graphs along with relevant details through E-mail to
